Hair is important - you have to wear it every day of your life (unless you're Patrick Stewart or Dr. Phil). That's why I don't mind paying a bit more for a cut if I know I'm getting my money's worth.
That's why I love, love, love Civello. For a hair cut, I pay about $70 with tip, but I have never, ever left feeling dissatisfied. I go to Trin, who specializes in shorter hair and she is fantastic. If I have a specific request, she does what I ask. If I'm not sure what I want, she'll give me some suggestions, I'll go with it and my hair will look fantastic.
The Civello experience is also great because you get a complimentary oil massage for your head before your cut and they use yummy smelling Aveda products that leave your hair feeling clean and fresh. Finding a hairstylist you trust is hard so that's why I'll fork over a little more for someone who's good at their job.
