  • I like Whole Foods' selection but not their prices. I usually only go here if I need an ingredient I can't get at Vons. This location is fairly small, but they stll have a better selection of cheeses, meats, and organic vegetables than Vons. I went here today to get turkey legs to make stock. While I was standing at the meat counter, the butcher walked up and said, "Can I help you, sir?" Granted my hair is short and I'm kinda soft butch, but I still don't like being called sir. He did apologize when he saw my face and was very nice while filling my order.
