| - I'll give Cynthia Shannon 5 stars for tending bar. We, two senior citizen women, went into the lounge after 8 p.m. for some pool and beer to practice for our geezer pool league on a busy Wednesday bowling league night. Most bartenders and servers see two old ladies and immediately discount them as cheap, poor tippers and so don't give them good service (which came first, the chicken or . . .). However, Cynthia was super friendly, pleasant, efficient and professional. Although there was only one other table occupied with a family in the front/alley concourse part of the lounge, Cynthia was kept very busy serving the bowlers at the bar. Still, she was always pleasant and professional to us and even listened and laughed to our lame jokes. Give her a raise and have her train other bar personnel.
As for the lounge, If you're going to have a pool table, could you at least put a light above it so the shooters could actually see the ball colors? The decorative dim light hanging off center of the table doesn't quite get it.
Overall, the lounge was very clean, and walking though the facility, every thing else looked good too.
