rev:text	Smooth wines, juicy steaks, melt-in-your-mouth sides and rewarding desserts... this was one of the best meals I've ever had. And, I got to experience it with some of my most favorite humans on earth. Met a few of my faves in Vegas, to welcome 2018, over a great meal. A couple of them had chosen Prime, as they had it a few years ago and said they wanted us to taste for ourselves. They told no lie. It's located inside the Bellagio and if you can, you should request a table with a view of the fountain show. It's truly a spectacular view. Arrive early and grab a drink at the bar and just really enjoy the views, because it's a visually stunning restaurant. Btw, the Emeritus Pinot was devine. The service is impeccable. Every single staff member displays the utmost hospitality, from the hostess, to the sommelier. We started with a bottle of the Melka CJ Cab and Hourglass Merlot, which both were velvety smooth. The Hourglass had a slightly bitter afternote, but wasn't bad. The Melka was the table's fave, so we had to get another bottle. The wines paired extremely well with all of the food. The food was nothing short of amazing. The steaks are juicy and cooked to perfection. Hubby and I shared the dry-aged bone-in ribeye, which was so marbly and yummy. We also shared the filet mignon, which was tender and delicious. The steak sauces were all flavorful, and surprisingly the soy was my fave, because I thought I'd like the bearnaise more. The entire table shared all the sides, which we ordered 2 of each. The truffle potatoes were whipped to perfection and literally melted in my mouth, SO yum!!! The mac and cheese was so good, as well as the brussels, and creamed spinach. I should mention I had a bite of my friend's cesar salad, at the beginning of the meal and it was also really good. Oh, the walnut bread was my fave too, but the pretzel one was also good! And the desserts were soooo good too! I had a bite of the chocolate cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. The bread pudding looked amazing, but I could not take another bite of food, or I'd pass out right there. It's not often that I endulge in a 4-star restaurant, so it's truly a treat to experience and Prime was a great choice! Treat yo self!
