| - Your pedicure comes with a wonderful reflexology foot massage by a trained reflexologist. That's good value for your money, as most reflexology foot massages typically cost twice as much. You can also enjoy a cup of green tea while your toenails are being painted, too.
Many reviews have already mentioned the vegan aspect - the owner is a devout vegan, with a bookshelf full of vegan cookbooks and other related reading material.
All great so far, right? For your pedicure, absolutely. Where the experience disappoints, though, is if you come for a French tip manicure. It's a quick, free-hand swipe of white across your nail tips that leaves an uneven, shaky edge. I saw one bad review about the French tip manicure already posted, but that was a couple of years ago, and I thought that likely the owners had taken the bad review into account and improved the care they take with this particular technique. Alas, that is not the case, unfortunately!
This is my second time at this nail salon - the first time I brought a friend for a pedicure and we were both *really* pleased. The pedicure lasted a long time, too.
My advice, therefore: if you're just looking for a great pedicure, this is the spot! Really.
If you want a careful, fancy manicure, though, try another salon.
