We happened upon this restaurant upon arriving in Montreal, beckoned inside by the warm, inviting aroma that spread about a block away from the restaurant. We tried the poulet tikka rejalla, a departure from traditional masala in that it was a little more tomato-y and included a strong mint component. This chicken has now set the bar for all other chicken, probably Indian or otherwise, that I have or will ever consume. It was truly divine. The restaurant was very pretty, with high ceilings and large windows. The service was fantastic and the owner even stopped to talk to us for a bit. Minus one star because the mattar paneer, while it tasted very fresh, didn't seem to be very flavorful. I almost wonder if this had something to do with the robust flavor of the rejalla, but I was expecting a bit more from the mattar paneer as one of my go-to dishes. I would DEFINITELY go back for the chicken!
