  • Visited Scottsdale and stayed over at the Westin Kierland from Palo Alto, California. I tried to relax at the spa and use the resort amenities, big disappointment, there are a lot of wrong things about this place. First of all, the place is OLD, it totally needs an update. The water dispensers are disgusting, all COSTUMERS be aware black stuff (MOLD) comes from the faucet. I was about to vomit. The health department should look at this. The waiting area was trashed, seems like they don't have enough staff to clean around, but how do you explain a big mess when the place was empty. Not a good management overseeing the cleanliness. The locker area was a truly mess, all the baskets were full of dirty laundry. The steam room smell like pee and mold. It is supposed to be eucalyptus, smells very bad and they don't clean it during the day. No towels in the showers and also so many dirty towels on the floor. I ended up more stress with such a mess. Staff will passed by but no cleaning was happening. Even one other person without a black uniform was around on his phone texting, he seemed to be having a long conversation with someone because he will be coming back again and again. I left very unhappy and I didn't even try to go back to use the facilities even thou I paid for it. I wasn't even curious to see their menu of treatments.
