This sushi restaurant is owned and run by a Japanese chef and his wife? who serves and bakes all the delicious cakes in the restaurant. The owner was very friendly and he personally selects all the fish so you get very fresh fish that varies every day. He told us he doesn't have a website because he uses different fish everyday.
When we went, he had fresh sardines and he added some sardine sashimi into my Chirashi. It was delicious and the way he prepared it with ginger masked the fishy taste that sardines usually have. The Chirashi was the best I've tried in Toronto, the eel rice under the Chirashi was so delicious and had no fishy taste due to his preparation skills and the freshness of the fish. I highy recommed getting the 3 course meal set because it comes with a delicious cake afterwards! i chose the green tea cheesecake and my friend got the tofu cheesecake. They were both excellent and not too sweet.
It's definitely a place that foodies would enjoy.
