| - This review is of the Lofts du Vieux-Port, which are owned and run by this hotel. We stayed in Loft 707 on Saint Paul. Staying at the Lofts du Vieux-Port turned out to be an excellent decision. Location cannot be beat. The concierge personnel at the hotel are extremely pleasant, friendly, and attentive. They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and provided truly excellent service - even helping us find last minute hockey game tickets and getting them printed for us! We were slightly nervous booking a room we did not actually see any photos of, but as you can see from the photos I uploaded, our Loft was lovely. Everything was very clean, with fresh bedding, and sufficient heating. Well equipped kitchenette with coffee maker and tea kettle, spacious bathroom with a shower roomy enough for two and a separate tub, dining table, loveseat, easy chair, and desk, in addition to our cozy king bed. One closet for coats and shoes, another to store our luggage, and one for our clothes, in addition to the dresser. There was a safe - which we did not use - as well as an iron and ironing board. The wifi worked just fine and there were several TV stations available in English and French. Note that there is no elevator and breakfast is not included; we were made aware of this prior to booking and neither was an issue for us. Had one breakfast at Gaspar's (the hotel restaurant/Tavern) and drinks there on another night. We enjoyed our room and our week-long stay. We recommend these Lofts and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Montréal.
