  • This is really my favorite place to be. I could throw a baseball from my front porch and hit CVNP property. This is perfect for when I want to run or ride my bike! The towpath is great, one can ride/run/hike whatever from Cleveland to Akron. There's also plenty of paths off the towpath of throughout different parts of the park. You can see how the locks worked, you can see where the glaciers carved through the rock, creating the terrain we now know, you can even see plenty of wildlife and a couple small caves. Don't tell people in other states, but we have one great, underrated park...possibly the best...but shhh, it's our best kept secret!
