| - Absolutely awful. I have never seen a club that is set up in such a disorganized manner. We arrived at 9 PM to stand in line because the promoter told us to get there at this time. We all know that is early as hell to go out in Vegas, but when places are crowded you have to get there early. Fine.
We were told to stand in the guest list line, so that's exactly what we did. We were told they would start letting people in at 9:30. We were really not that far back in the line, maybe about 80 people deep, then suddenly about 10 PM one of the bouncers tells us we have to go upstairs to a different entrance and takes a ton of people in the line upstairs by the pool. He said we would be in quicker up there at that entrance.
We get up there and stand in line by the pool. There are herds of Asians up there trying to cut ahead in the line, both girls and guys, and the set up was just godawful. These Asian chicks cut ahead and the one bouncer told them to leave, but of course they pretended not to speak English and kept shoving through the crowd.
This line upstairs was absolutely ridiculous. No way in hell was it faster than the downstairs line. We stood in line for over THREE HOURS. My friend sat down on one of the chairs up there by the pool for about 30 seconds and was yelled at by a bouncer to get off the furniture because it's not there to be sat on. Ummm...really? A chair that is at a pool which is NOT EVEN OPEN can't be sat on for less than minute after we have been standing for three hours?
Meanwhile, more Asians are cutting the line and the bouncer again tells more Asian chicks to come back and get at the and of the line. They keep shoving past everyone, bouncer just says whatever and turns back around and yells at some guy for leaning on the pole that holds up the ropes and says it's not there for people to touch. Really? Maybe they hate white people at this club?
Oh and then of course some Asian girls again are cutting in the line and one removed the rope from this pole and leaves it open and hoards of ppl try to shove through. I thought that was not for anyone to touch, much less to REMOVE and walk right through. Guess what Asian girls, everyone else has been waiting, so you should too. What makes you think you can jump ahead of everyone else in line? You are certainly not better looking than ANY OF US, that is for sure.
The lines up there barely even moved at all the entire time. Perhaps this was due to the fact that the Asians kept cutting the line shoving past everyone else. Half my group decided at that point to just leave and go elsewhere because this was so ridiculous and stupid after we had been waiting this long and the disorganization of the lines and the idiot Asian girls cutting ahead, etc.
We finally get up to the point of entering the club and lo and behold there is nowhere to move inside. Took 20 mins to get to the bar, was yelled at by a bouncer for attempting to go near the dance floor (WTF?!?!) and then could not even get any drinks ordered in there.
The girls and I ended up leaving and going somewhere else to meet the rest of our group who were smarter and bailed out over an hour prior. They were having a great time elsewhere with no issues like this. F Marquee and its lame ass setup and completely disorganized methods. I am happy to stick with XS, Tryst, and Tao as I have never had a bad time at any of those places and have not dealt with such disorganization and stupidity.
