I purchased a 2008 jeep from Tod Hale at centennial leasing in December 2013. It looked great . They said it was certified and ready to go. I met them at the Arizona federal credit union and took take of the financing. About a block from the credit union I heard and then found a large screw in one of the tires. The head of the screw was worn. It had been in the tire for a while. I took it to a tire store and they advised the tire was in poor condition not due to the screw, but to dry rot. All five needed replacing. I went to another shop and was told the same thing. I replaced all 5 tires and also found the serpentine belt needed replacing. The filter was also dirty and had to be replaced. I replaced the tires, belt, and filter and sent my son on the road back to Kansas for college.
The certified inspection must not have happened. If so,the for mentioned deficiencies would have been found. I contacted Tod Hale repeatedly and finally heard from him that he turned it over to his manager, mike Hughes. It is now Fe.2014 and I have still not heard from hughes. told hale said mike hughes left me a voice mail last week. Not bad, 8 weeks after. I found it it said this is mike Hughes and left a phone number. The same one I have been calling for 2 months.
I kept the cost down to $500. To replace all the tires, belt and air filter. Cheap I would say. Still no reply.
Mike Hughes is supposed to be in his office tomorrow feb. 19th 2014.
Information : Arizona credit union stated that they use centennial because they want no problems after the purchase.
