  • I heard about this HUGE grand opening of a Filipino grocery store that also has a food court that is the same franchise as the one in Las Vegas old strip area. I checked it out 2 weeks ago but the food court area had a huge line up so i was like my hour lunch break wouldn't allow me enough time to try out their food here. So i'll come back another time when the hype dies down. I swooped by the other day and checked out the food court lines and finally the hype died down. I wanted to try out CRISPY town but as i waiting in line and looking at their prices i was like holy crap a combo is going to cost me easy over $10-18 to try there food out. This was going to be an expensive lunch today. With that in mind i skipped Crispy town and lined up at Grill city to see what they're working with. BBQ sticks $4.50 each but if you buy 4 it's $3.50 each which i find expensive compared to buying it at FV foods. i bought 4 bbq sticks, steamed rice with Bicol express and a drink in total cost $26.85 HOLY COW WTF I'd imagine i will give them the benefit of the doubt to my own community so whatever lets try em out. The BBQ pork sticks was okay cold not hot imagine if it was under a heat lamp it would be hot but no it's not freshly cook for sure. Bicol Express with rice was okay nothing special there either, hells even my Dr. Pepper was lacking the pop. All in all i paid top dollar for some Tita's okay food. when i pay that much i could have gone to Red Lobster or the Keg and pay the extra money for some service and sit down environment. the ppl that worked there are friendly so i'll give them a STAR for that. But honestly those kinds of prices for food court Filipino is too expensive. It's okay to try it out one time but i wouldn't bother going there unless i was checking something out at the grocery side of things. The price i paid I honestly could have a family pack deal at Swiss Chalet or Nando's chicken and i would be able to share that amount of with 2-3 other ppl. Let's get real here DROP YOUR PRICES!!! PRO TIP #1 Noticed this as i was walking around the grocery store they have hot food TO GO that is like 40-60% less then the food court prices. Wish i seen that before i bought my food. PRO TIP #2 Check out Something Sweet4U it's across the street filipino restaurant - they have all the side sauce you every desire available to use when you dine in. something this Food Court lacks big time. BTW if i had to compare this place to Nations food court grocery, NATIONS OVER SEAFOOD CITY ALL FREAKING DAY!!!! i hope my two cents help yall Yelpers out on this place. Make smart Yelp Decisions Yelpers Stay Classy
