I reserve the 5 star glory for places that truly rock my foodie world. Everything about my Sunday brunch experience had my tastebuds begging for more!
My friend and I stopped in after shopping for groceries in the Strip. We were seated immediately in a spot with plenty of room to place our grocery bags next to us. Our waitress was friendly & gave excellent recommendations for drinks. We started with a bloody mary and grapefruit margarita. I got the horseradish infused vodka in my first bloody mary and the old bay infused vodka in my second. Both were the perfect kick but the horseradish had a stronger flavor. Our app was the mango pineapple gaucemole. The mango overpowered the pineapple but not the avocado! I would order that dip again. I stuck with Bloody marys throughout our meal and my friend switched to a mojito. It was crisp, fresh and well blended.
For our entrees, I got the Jamaican veggie curry and my friend got the flank steak burger with arugula and truffle aioli and a side salad. Wow! Both dishes were incredible!!! The citrus that pulled through my curry was a delightful surprise and the portion was huge. It was served with saffron rice and I had to leave most of the rice behind. My friend demolished the burger in record time. The aioli was the perfect compliment. I am not a burger fan but one bite of her dish, I saw the appeal.
The attentive service, excellent food and drinks screamed 5 star. I am excited for my next trip back to further explore the menu and libation creations!
