  • Watch out for this guy. George gave me 3 invoices for work and we agreed to proceed on one of them. He asked me for a deposit check of $5,000 and a second check for $5,000 a week later. The 3rd week he asked for another $5,000 and I asked him to specify which invoice it was for and he said none of them. He never pulled permits for our job, he never got the work the was doing approved with the city, and we have to remove everything he did. We asked for a refund and he refused and insulted me. This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. I am now proceeding with a small claims lawsuit and notifying the Contractor Board to review this incident. My suggestion is to be cautious when dealing with this guy.
