I lived in this apartment complex for four months out of the one year I initially signed up for. The only reason I stayed the last two months was because they required that I put in a 60 day notice in order to leave. In the first two months that I lived here, I was woken up by my upstairs neighbor beating on his girlfriend on multiple occasions in the middle of the night, police constantly being called for the violent acts that occurred on this property, my neighbor harassing me, pounding on my door, and trespassing on my patio multiple times, and my sliding glass door being completely shattered. I lived in constant fear that my life was in danger. I am a single female who lives alone and made the mistake of choosing this complex to reside. Do not make the same mistake as me. After multiple complaints to the resident manager, nothing was done about this violating tenant who not only broke multiple laws within the Arizona Landlord Tenant Act, but also violated multiple sections within the property's own rental agreement. The property management company had ample cause to evict this tenant and flat out grossly neglected their responsibility as landlord. The management team did nothing about this violating tenant who probably still resides there. After witnessing this tenant on my patio for the second time at 3:30AM, that was the last straw and I took the necessary steps to vacate this apartment complex. No dollar amount was worth living in constant fear for my safety. I do not recommend this apartment complex and would advise anyone interested in living here to think twice. Ahwatukee is a very nice area and there are many better apartments out there.
