  • I have previously written about how awesome Sunrise Coffee is, and this is (as the name implies) the mothership. Mothership Coffee is the closest thing I've come to a Scandinavian coffee shop here in Las Vegas. The interior is cool and sleek, and by the less is more formula. This is where the brilliant staff roast the coffee beans for both Mothership and Sunrise Coffee. If you're buying a bag of beans, you get a free, black coffee on the house. They also sell fresh pastries, made in-house, here. I have yet to try one that wasn't delicious. The cinnamon rolls fly off the shelves, so if you see some when you're in there make sure you get one of those. The savory scone is another staple that we usually go for. They also sell some really good nitro-brewed coffee, cold and delicious, perfect for when the weather gets hot. If you're like me, and like IPA's, order the hoppy nitro-brew. It's goooood. Mothership Coffee is right by Trader Joe's on Green Valley Pkwy and Sunset, and makes for a perfect stop before or after some grocery shopping.
