Pretty much your "ride"-of-the-mill bike shop. Located roughly between Davidson and Cornelius they have found an ideal location for feeding the local [supposedly] bicycle-friendly community. Prices are high and only high-end road and mountain bikes are sold here. Though high, it can be considered standard for a bike shop. The staff is friendly and fairly helpful. I asked about having them tap holes for a bottle-holder rack and they were willing to do it, despite how random of an implement that may be.
Cycling friends have had some good stuff to say about the place. They say the same as me - "it's just the usual". Of course my cycling crew is more the hipster crowd and not so much the mainstream road warrior bunch. We look for more vintage steel and leather rather than high speed carbon and nylon. All in all the guys in here seem pretty chill, open-minded and not uptight. Oddly enough I don't see a lot of people here even though Davidson is just right there. Maybe they're all out riding?
