  • I haven't stayed here since I was a child. I usually stay in Palms Place and Mandalay so this is a major downgrade from what I am used to. I'm in a "renovated" room. Still feels really old and claustrophobic. Staying here because I have a friend who is also staying here and we wanted to be in the same hotel together. Would never stay here otherwise. This place is a landmark of Vegas but it needs some major improvements. I feel itchy just sitting in the room. I'm hoping there aren't any bedbugs. I am in a non smoking room but it still smells old and musty. I have a view of the Mandalay from my room and I'm staring at it wishing I was there. Will never stay here nor recommend it unless you want a dirt cheap hotel. If I'm on vacation in Vegas, I want to feel like I'm in Vegas.
