  • I have been in desperate need of new glasses for years as mine were literally falling apart. By the time I decided to look up a new optometrist, I had electrical tape holding my glasses together -- so needless to say it was time. Obviously, I turned to Yelp to find an optometrist in my area and came across this listing. Went to their website -- 60$ eye exam? Yes please. No need to have to buy glasses from them to get this price? Even better. So I booked an appointment. I spent 2.5 hours here, between waiting, the actual eye exam, trying on almost every pair of frames in the store and finally walking out with the ones I picked. Guys -- my glasses were ready in 20 mins after I chose the frames. It was freaking MIRACULOUS. I thought I was going to have to wait a few days-- but super pumped to say I drove home already wearing the new glasses. The eye exam was 2, or 3 parts depending if you opt for the additional exam that checks the nerves for damage in the back of your eyes ($29 - for a total of $88 complete exam). First part - checking eye pressure. Second part - actual exam. Third part - Nerve damage test. Super friendly optometrist, had a great conversation with him during my exam and he wasn't annoyed by the 1000 questions I asked. I have avoided the whole exam/finding a new optometrist/frame shopping mostly because i despise pushy sales people. (Previous to going here, I purchased 2 frames from Zenni Optical-- but my outdated prescription rendered them useless) So I am here to say.. NOT ONE sales person here was sleezy, sales-y or pushy! I forgot the name of the man who helped me, but he was very patient with me and dug through all the drawers of frames that weren't even on the shelves to help me find the size frame I was looking for. From the time I entered until the time I left, there must have been at least 30 people come in and out of the store, families, couples, individuals and hearing how genuinely helpful the staff was towards clients, again in a not pushy sales-y way was like a breath of fresh air. I think all the frames were 35% off including the higher end designer brands, which is awesome. In total, for the exam, frames I chose (Carerra) and my lenses -- I spent a total of $320. Definitely my go-to place from now on, I will be getting contacts ($42/box/6months) from here and bringing mama to get new glasses as well.. Highly recommend.
