GCU is the shiny penny in the bottom of the garbage can. I had dreamed of attending this school since my sophmore year of high school and barely a semester in I hate the entire school. I left high school with a 3.5 GPA and it has completly gone down the gutters. I had a teacher ask if I WANTED him to grade my assignments.uh....yeah! And he never did so I failed the class. Staff leaves out crucial information for success of their students. I was pressured into GCU by the SSA's with the threat of taking my scholarship away if I had waited a semester like I wanted to. Not to mention when taking placement tests I had technical issues and couldnt see the questions it was just blank options. I was told by my SSA to take the test or I cant go to GCU. I couldnt see the damn questions! I paid for a class I was never meant to be in that id get no credit for. A semster in now I am ditching this awful school that put me 1000's of dollars in debt at 18. Not to mention I had to pay $50 a semester to WALK 10 min to my car. My advice, stick to community college dont waste your time hugging a shiny penny of a school that focuses more on reputation and campus appeal then student satisfaction. They will take all your money and leave you dry. Then some way some how they will find a way to take even more money. I will never reccomend GCU to any of my friends. Its a shame the lope lost its pride. It might as well be a reindeer now because its fictional to think this school cares about your education.
