  • Colony American Homes has done it again! I'm speechless about the phone call I just received. Property Management is telling me after a year of being in one of their rental properties that they've just noticed my pet is an American Staffordshire Terrier. They go on to say that I have a Pit Bull Breed. Well no shit! I was upfront when I completed all the necessary paperwork and background checks, including photos of my dogs and everything. My application paperwork clearly states the breed of my dog. Now I'm being told that I cannot have my American Staffy reside in my home? Speechless! Absolutely dumbfounded! Everything with Colony American Homes has been a challenge. Nothing at all has been smooth. I've had issue with the way Colony provides maintenance service; no communication and no follow up or service. Obviously, someone up top is not paying attention to what's going on. I keep hearing how Colony has 1900 homes in Vegas alone. Well, frankly, if Colony would hire more competent staff to provide great service, maybe their reputation would improve. At this point in time, I can say nothing good about how Colony American Homes conducts business. It's the worst in the business. I travel nationwide and I'm happy to share the news about my negative experiences with Colony. I'm just exhausted with it all!
