  • I landed at Metro a few months ago after having an extremely disappointing customer service experience at another downtown cigar shop. My experiences at Metro thus far have been outstanding. Bashir is a polite and patient "guide" to a cigar n00b like myself, and is full of advice. He has made numerous suggestions for me to try based on my purchases, some more $, some less $, but never do I feel like I'm being up-sold. All the cigars I've bought have been outstanding, with none unravelling and falling apart as was wont to happen at my old shop. He also suggested (and provided) a beefed up humidification device to fix an issue i was having with my humidor. He even went as far as providing me with an old broken cutter so I could replace a screw that fell out of my existing one (purchased elsewhere), rendering it useless. This kind of customer service is exactly what I'm looking for when I'm looking for a local business to make purchases at. I want someone who will foster a relationship, and treat my business as more than the sum of the last single transaction. Bashir understands this and thats why I now return there every week or so to make purchases. Highly recommend!
