  • I've been to two different escape rooms at two different locations. This was my first time here. I guess had high expectations because my previous experience at another location was so awesome. The people working here were nice, helpful, and online the rooms sounded really cool. We booked the Peek-a-boo room for 4 people. I really like paranormal, creepy stuff so I was really excited about it. You can ask for hints during the puzzle and the guide tries to lead you to get to the right answer instead of just telling you, which is good. The room was very small, dirty, and kind of thrown together. There are many dingy and dirty stuffed animals in the room and I found it hard to focus on the game because of having to touch all of them and thinking about everyone who had been there before. I realize the room was supposed to be spooky but it seemed run down and needed touching up or maybe some more thought put in the details. I'm not sure exactly how to describe it except that it seemed all the items were donated and had been abused. That, or, this place gets lots of traffic and thing have just been worn down. There is an electronic device that is used as you are going through the puzzle. This device is not very responsive to touch and is frustrating to use and takes precious time from the puzzle. It needs to be replaced with a new or better quality brand. You are encouraged to use the restrooms before you start and they were also dirty. Overall, I was disappointed. The puzzle was challenging but compared to the other locations, the puzzles were not on the same level creatively. Another place, we actually had to figure out a rope puzzle based on coordinates, a water puzzle, and picture puzzle based on different painted cans. We only did the one room. But, I'm glad we were able to save some money with a coupon or I may have been more than disappointed. This location definitely has potential with their creative stories and good customer service.
