I was feeling pretty "blah" about my hair and had nothing better to do the other day, so I gave Parlour a call and booked myself for a cut later that afternoon.
My stylist was Sam and he took great care of me. He sat me down for a quick consultation and was nice and professional, but honest about my hair. My previous hair cut was sort of a disaster and I asked Sam to help me rectify the mess since I've been a little shy around scissors since then. I have very dry, thick, coarse hair that had been cut very unevenly. When he told me he wanted to chop off 2 inches to really even everything out and start from scratch, my eyes bulged out of my head. I told him "I get it. I'm sure you're right, but I just can't" he smiled and said he hadn't had anyone cry in the chair before and he didn't want me to be the first so he'd do his best to preserve the length.
Sam was knowledgable about hair and gave me good advice about which products would work best for me, but didn't push anything on me. He was true to his word and preserved the length while smoothing out my layers. I felt so good about my hair after leaving his chair and would recommend Sam to anyone.
