  • How can you not like this place? Well, if you don't like strip clubs, you probably won't; but if you're sympathetic, it has its low-class charm. House of Lancaster is classic seediness in a still-seedy neighbourhood (Bloor and Lansdowne). The late owner,Terry Koumoudouros, was heavily involved in local matters, and even discovered (uncovered?) a loophole to get out of a silly Supreme Court no-nudity-for-nude-dancing ruling. Kudos! Got nothing to do on Christmas Day? House of Lancaster is still open then, and the strippers all wear Santa Claus hats (nor much else, obviously). If you family and friends are elsewhere or busy (or would rather come with you for an anti-Xmas), it can be pretty fun.
