  • I really enjoyed watching David Copperfield on TV when I was a kid - so I was super excited to see him in person despite all the mediocre reviews. I can see where people are coming from..from what I remember from David Copperfield was his big spectacular tricks like walking through the Great Wall of China and making the Statue of Liberty disappear. Obviously, he can't do any of those things in a Vegas theatre - but I was going in hoping for that same pazazz. Mind you, if you do watch his show EXPECT a lot of audience participation and story telling! If you're not into that, do not watch the show. The combination of both made it entertaining for me and it was a nice change form the usual Cirque Soleil shows I usually opt for in Vegas. I was a little taken back by the way he looks now - he looks nothing like his promotional photos for the show. But otherwise, I enjoyed the show and it was nice to finally see David Copperfield perform live. The theatre is pretty small, so it makes for a nice intimate setup.
