| - After my husbands brain surgery we were recommended to this endocrinologist office by the hospital. He needed to start a treatment for his deficient hormones after his surgery and to make sure he could be able to handle the surgery before it was done. Dr. Reddy is the doctor we have been seeing since right before his surgery last year.
His doctor is nice enough. She seems knowledgeable about treatments, but I don't know to what extent. She does seem to genuinely care about my husbands treatment because when my husband calls her, even when she is on vacation, she is quick to get back to him and never leaves his phone calls hanging for more than 24 hours. She has him on a treatment plan right now that seems to be working because he has started to finally feel better since his surgery but he still has a few issues she doesn't seem to be able to help with, and its a little concerning.
My main complaint is the way this office is run. We have never had an appointment where we get in on time. We can show up 20 minutes early for our scheduled appointments, and still be sitting in the waiting room for over an hour at times. I understand doctors are busy, and sometimes they have patients who go over their allotted time, but my problem is if this happens on a regular basis, maybe as the doctor say, "Hey, I seem to keep having this issue where I can't see any of my patients on time. I better think about scaling back the number of appointments I take on a daily basis." My problem with this office is it seems to be all about how many they can see in one day versus quality care. I don't think we ever spend more than 10 minutes with Dr Reddy. And both of the assistants she have had have been sort of jerks. The last time I made a fuss about how we had waited over an hour past our appointment time, and the only thing this guy could say was "I can give you numbers to different doctors if you aren't happy, honestly." Seems sort of unprofessional if you ask me to be telling patients that instead of working on fixing what I am unhappy about, to just send us to a different doctor instead. And I would, if we didn't have almost a year of time invested in this doctor.
If I were anybody else who was looking for an endocrinologist fresh, I wouldn't choose this office. I wish we had researched her before we picked her last year but now we are sort of stuck.
