I was really looking forward to coming here with my mom. She was taking me to see Mike and Dave for my 20th birthday. We reserved our tickets online, not knowing that this was a 21+ movie. There is a TINY sign when buying the ticket online that says 21+ but it was definitely too small for me to notice. Upon arrival, the cashier scanned the tickets and charged us for the tickets. AFTER they already charged my moms card, the cashier asked me how old I was and I told her I was 20. She proceeded to tell me I could not enter the auditorium. She should have asked me before she charged our card. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience but instead, argued with us and told us that we should have seen the 21+ warning on the web site. We asked to get a refund since I couldn't be admitted inside and she just rolled her eyes and walked away to get a manager. They ended up just letting us see the movie. I was very disappointed with the service :(
AMC, if you read these, PLEASE, have your employees check ID before you charge us. And work on making it more obvious that a movie will be 21+ for people reserving seats online. Because clearly it's not that noticeable.
