  • The room was comfortable enough and there was free parking available in the badly aged parking lot when I arrived late at night. However, this property loses points for the dearth of outlets that are available in the room. Is it that difficult for a property to at least add a lamp with an outlet in it or one of those desks with a power strip built into the side? Do they believe that a weary traveler will choose not to plug in their cell phone that is down to 2% power if they hide the outlets? Was the hotel built before electricity? I have to believe that the Fairfield Inn is catering to travelers that have - at a minimum - a cellphone, iPad, and laptop that all need to be plugged in. I was forced to physically move the bed, a dresser with a TV on it, and crawl underneath the desk to plug my devices in. C'mon, man! Marriott can do better.
