  • I spoke to Eric, the operation director at Sun Devil Taxi to set up a 4:40am and a 7:10am return from ASU to Tempe Town Lake for 2 student athletes on a Varsity Crew team. He was charging $50.00 round trip for the 2.8 mile ten minute trip each way.Eric was rude and arrogant when I inquired about who would be driving them and for the drivers contact number saying he could not violate the driver's personal info. However, being on time and responsible is an issue which is why I wanted to have the contact info as well as entrusting two 15 year olds into the hands of someone unknown. Not only does Eric need to take Customer Service 101 and Manners 101, he needs to understand that his nasty attitude of "doing me a favor", does not ultimately translate into a successful long term business plan especially with the amount of competing taxi and car services and new services like Uber and Lyft that are emerging.
