| - Made reservations here for a 10:30pm dinner. It was one of the last few time slots available on a Saturday. Located inside The Palazzo, it could be easy to miss, so I recommend asking for directions if you're running late to your reservation. I almost was! However, we made it on time!
Upon checking in, they kindly asked us to wait. We were able to sit in a cute waiting area, which is also right beside the bar. The booths had comfy pillows for you to lean on and relax while waiting. They came and served us some water upon request. It was crisp and cold, perfect to satisfy the heat I had endured in Vegas all day!
Finally, about 5 minutes after, they took us to our booth. Our hostess was very friendly, she had even lifted the table and moved it aside so that I could sit on the inside of the booth instead of squeezing through the table. I was awfully impressed since the table looked really heavy. We ate quite a bit last night, they gave us a lot of complimentary items too. I was very satisfied.
Complimentary popovers - They were small but delicious! Warm and moist in the inside, it almost tasted buttery to me with a hint of cayenne. I was tempted to ask for more, but had to hold myself back knowing I was going to be chowing down some good steak later in the night.
Complimentary Parmesan Breadsticks - They reminded me of long pretzel sticks but I wasn't expecting them at all! They gave us 4, 2 sticks per person. I wasn't really expecting anything at first since I wasn't too impressed, but changed my mind after the first bite. The parmesan flakes sets it apart from regular pretzel sticks. The parmesan is a little flaky but makes the sticks very unique. My date finished the rest of the sticks.
Complimentary Bread - Instead of giving us a small plate of bread and butter, they brought out a tray of assorted breads; multigrain, pumpernickel, and onion bread. We get to pick which one we'd like to try. I got the onion and multigrain. I definitely recommend the onion over the multigrain. The onion bread was doused in so much onion, it was invigorating! Spread their seasoned butter onto the bread, perfection! The seasoned butter makes all the difference!
Rib Eye Steak 12oz Dry Aged 35 Days - My date and I chose to share this. We were kind of dehydrated so we drank a lot of water which curbed our appetite. We knew we couldn't order our own separate steaks. We also added their house steak sauce and caramelized onions and shallots to our order. The steak came out perfectly medium rare as we cut through the center of it. It was perfectly charred and looked like a masterpiece. The 12oz ribeye was definitely the perfect size for us to share. I definitely felt the steak is pretty good here, but I've honestly had better back at home. I was kind of expecting my fork to sink into the meat without really having to put so much pressure on it, but I am just picky! I love their house steak sauce, it added so much flavor to the steak! I definitely recommend ordering the sauce! They didn't give us a lot of the caramelized onions or shallots but they really complimented the steak.
Complimentary Sweets - These tiny treats came out after dinner. I wasn't expecting it since I didn't really have much room for dessert. However, I did try out these little pieces. There's a salted caramel piece, dark chocolate, basically just tiny bites to cleanse your palate. They weren't bad, and I can't really complain since it's complimentary!
My overall experience here was pretty great. Our server was friendly, he would occasionally come and check up on us to see if we're enjoying our food. The food itself good, a bit small in portions for the sides but still enough to fill me. The steak was cooked just like how I asked, medium rare and perfectly charred. I can't complain. On top of that, so many complimentary items!!!
