Got acquainted with the service via a Community Deal that a portion of the proceeds go to the local charity of your choosing. 5 STARS FOR THAT PARTNERSHIP & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT.
I usually don't review a place that I've only patronized once, but I would go back to these guys as soon as the needs arises.
Here's what I got: HEADLIGHT RESTORATION (so the cloudiness & foggy look can go away in the headlights and they'll look new again allowing for a further reach/distance of my headlights).
How things went down:
1) I called. Got the voicemail. Lady calls right back.
2) The booking was simple even though they were in the process of moving.Kudos~
b) They are moving to a larger location! Growth of a local business is always great.
3) She updates me that they are moving to the address above and proceeds to give me the landmark: THEY ARE NEXT TO THE UHAUL ON THE EASTSIDE.
4) Asked for my email address & I received a confirmation via email.
Arrived 5minutes behind and I called ahead to alert them of this and was told NO PROBLEM!
The day of:
1) No attitudes for my late arrival.
2) New location is basic and decent. Clean and bright.
3) One receptionist and we talked. Very personable.
4) She calls a guy - kid comes to get my key (I'm sure he's older than me but I interchange between kid & sir - blame Jersey Shore and my Southern roots) lol
5) I wait outside on this large FLAT rock by the curve. It's cool and provided down time to call and catch up with mom. Apparently this sparked a conversation with other folks & we talked. Nice place.
6) Truck brought around and from the walk it they appear better than new.
7) Walk in front to get that viewpoint and notice this looks cloudy. Sir (he was clearly older and bigger) explains that's the way its made. Ok! But then he provides: I can get bulbs that he just got for his birthday. And I'm like Euro Lights? Nope! Shows them to me and on his Yukon and I'm like ergh ah and those are what $150?
Sir: Yeah like $130.
Me: And that's why you got them for a Birthday gift. =)
Sir: Well I noticed your paint job.
Me: Yep
Sir: where you get it done?
Me: Back home
The exchange is being provided because I thought - well I'll see you next week but the man knows a few things about paint & body. This is important when you're dealing with a detail guy because you can't use any 'ole chemical to wash your vehicle or put any kind of cloth on certain finishes.
This is a kudos because you'll want a knowledgable guy handling your vehicle especially since we have the snow/salt/grime/sand that can eat away at a great finish.
I learned they're not affiliated with the nationwide program that sells via GroupOn. These guys are local.
