I took my wife to the Philadelphia campus of CTCA in 2011 when she had stage three or four Endometrial Cancer. One of the radiologists came up with a possible treatment that could be done..that being to implant radioactive seeds in her liver. After our three day evaluation had ended at the cost of $21,000, I made numerous calls to try to follow-up on this suggestion, and my calls were never returned. I called at least three times and left messages for her "care team", and yet, no return call. Their TV ads claim they provide "care that never stops"....;so don't believe that claim...there was no follow-up from them to us, and not even a return phone call when we were desperate. My wife passed away about two months later without any further discussion of the possibility of implanting the radioactive seeds. I have read elsewhere that they inflate their claims of positive results by using "tricks" such as these...If they don't follow-up, and check on the status of their valued patients after they leave their evaluation, they don't need to count them when they die.
