I'm ambivalent about this place. Guess we'll have to break it down:
POSITIVES:
--- If you like old-school steakhouses (and I do), you'll really like the atmosphere here. Nice booths, pictures of old school celebs, Sinatra songs in the background.
--- Service was quite good. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews here, but our waiter was very nice and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
--- Steaks were tasty and cooked to perfection.
NEGATIVES:
--- The tableside Casear salads were merely OK. I expected a bit better for $12 per.
--- The sides weren't very good. The twice-baked potato was marginal at best, and the asparagus with bernaise sauce was NO BUENO. I'd avoid having the bernaise sauce on my steak if I were you.
--- It's a little spendy - everything is a la carte. Ended up spending a bit over $100/plate after tip.
I'm not really sure how I still come up with four stars, but there you go. I REALLY liked my steak, I guess...
