  • Meh. I've experienced better hits the nail on the head. S-L-O-W service also describes what we encountered today. My partner and I headed over to Scottsdale Fashion Square today to check out the Nordstrom Men's Sale. Some good deals and always a good time to shop at Nordstrom. I don't really think it's ever a good time to eat at Grand Lux. We were both hungry and I hadn't been before and wanted to give it a try. 15 minute wait for a table on the day after Christmas, not so bad or so I thought. We were seated in the amount of time estimated, but from there things took a turn into the Sun City slow lane. We were seated at 1:00 and received our food almost an hour later. Seriously I can grill a teeny, tiny piece of Salmon (lunch portion) and make a Turkey Club in about 10 minutes at home. What took them almost an hour is beyond me. To top it off the meal cost just south of 40 bucks and no, that did not include any alcohol. Don't think I will be headed back to Grand Lux anytime in the near future.
