  • We came for an early dinner on a Wednesday evening. So early that we were the first to be seated. Our server was knowledgeable and patient with us in explaining the specials (1/2 price seafood yakitori and the daily creation), portion sizes, Japanese terms we didn't know, etc. I suppose since we were the only customers in the restaurant our food came out quick. The daily creation of octopus seaweed salad, cod tempura and beef tartar was quite good. The portion is small but you get a good taste of the 3 different dishes. My favourite skewer was the scallops. They were cooked perfectly. The don came out looking beautiful. All the different colours popped and was so visually appetizing.
