| - I have been here for the past 5 years or so for a yearly 5 day conference. Some years I have been in a master suite, others in a regular room.
Tidbit: this is the same hotel that is featured in the NFL short film series called All Or Nothing. The AZ Cardinals use their large main room for some of the negotiations, look close and you can tell the color scheme is the same.
The proximity to dining and shopping is convenient. One mile north is a Target and other stores, including a FedEx (very handy) while one mile south is a Walmart.
My most recent stay ended about a week ago. It was another great visit. The staff are always top notch. Very friendly and willing to go over the top. Treat them nice and they will make sure your stay is amazing.
The concierege level amenities are convenient and plentiful. Breakfast is hearty with lighter options as well: eggs, protein, carbs, yogurt, fruit. Hors d'oeurves were tasty and hot. Dessert was always tempting and scurmptious.
I stayed in a regular room with two queen beds. The room was comfortable and clean. However, I noticed that there were several deep cracks that had eroded away in the "marble" walls of the shower. I also had a lampshade that had been damaged and was stained.
The conference part was great. Meeting rooms were comfortable temperatures, which is always a challenge 1 in the AZ heat and 2 for large groups.
I did hear they will be changing the desert-esque color scheme to a boring black, grey and unoriginal "trendy" one in the upcoming year.
While our company's contract has ended with this hotel, I hope to be able to stay in it again in the future.
