  • Is it strange that I like my vet more than most doctors I've seen? I work in the pet industry and am very careful with the treatment of my two dogs. I tried three different Banfield locations and this was by far the best. Dr Johnson (and Dr Fixler before he left) is absolutely terrific, and I have complete trust in her. She is very honest and never tries to sell you on anything you don't need. She honestly loves your pets and has their best interests at heart. One thing that impresses me about Banfield is that if you're ever skeptical or unsure about their diagnosis, they encourage you to seek out other opinions. This is a highly professional move that not many would take. I also like that they always call you the day after an appointment to check on your pet. If you have a young dog or puppy, I would recommend getting on a wellness plan - you'll save a boatload, especially during a puppy's first year when they need lots of shots and seem to get into all kinds of things that make them sick.
