My husband and I came to Ra Sushi for the first time. Our waitress informed us that she was training a waiter and that he would be over to take our order. The waiter was very nice and helpful and advised that we try there dynamite scallop roll. We ordered a dynamite roll, a chili shrimp roll and some sort of sushi bowl. My husband's sushi bowl came out first and 30 minutes later the manager brought us a dynamite scallop appetizer. We informed him that we ordered the dynamite scallop roll. Instead of apologizing he took the plate and briskly walked off. My husband and I both thought that his reaction was rude. We waited another 15 minutes and no sign of either roll. It doesn't take steak that long to cook, why would we wait that long for sushi? We tried to get the attention of our waitress but she was too busy chatting with someone at the bar. Our baby was getting tired/fussy so we asked the hostess for the check. We saw her inform our waitress and she didn't come out until the hostess asked her again 10 minutes later. She came out with our sushi to go and said that we would not be charged for the sushi. She stated that she wasn't sure that the waiter entered our order however, if you're "training" someone aren't you supposed to monitor them/help them to ensure that they are doing things correctly? We paid for our sushi bowl and wine and left, not one appearance from said manager to apologize for their mistake. Either way, we won't be back.
