  • I had a really unpleasant experience here. This used to be Danny's Family Car Wash and is now transitioning to Jacksons. I am borrowing a family member's car, so I thought it would be nice to fill it up and have it cleaned and vacuumed. I don't live in the area. I have never been to this car wash. I drove up and the guy who helped me filled up the tank and then pointed to where I go to pay. He really didn't explain what I do. I made it to the cashier and I told her, "This is my first time here. How does this work?" She said that they would call out the color, make, and model of the car when it was done. So, I had a seat in the waiting area. After about an hour, I went outside to look for the car, as I hadn't heard any announcement about the car. I couldn't see the car. I went to the cashier and told her I hadn't heard an announcement about the car being done. She said, "Oh, well, they announce it outside." She NEVER told me that they would announce it outside. I would have waited outside had I known that. At this point, I told her I had gone outside and did not see the car. She went outside with me and showed me that the car was parked way out, behind some other cars and it was ready to go. She said that any of the guys out there could help me. I went up to a gentleman who asked if he could help me. I pointed to the car and said, "Yes, my car is all done," as I was pointing to the car. He said, "I need to see your ticket." I told him, "I don't have a ticket." He then proceeded to tell me that I had to have a ticket and that people could take the wrong car and that it happens all the time. I told him that I would show him my receipt and everything I was given. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME ABOUT A FREAKING TICKET!! He said, "Listen, I'll tell you about the whole process." At this point, I said, "I'm not going to be back. I'm just visiting. I'm sorry." Instead of being cordial, I guess he thought I was being rude, he just abruptly turned around and said, "Fine. Don't come back." The whole experience wasted my time and left a bad taste in my mouth. As if that wasn't enough, later in the day, I was walking toward the car and I saw a bunch of stuff left on the window. When I got closer, I saw it was writing with a wax pencil for the amount of gas I had purchased. They hadn't even cleaned off the window!!! Seriously, not a good experience. I told them every step of the way that I had not ever been there before. It would have been nice if they had been helpful and explained how it worked.
