  • Phil served as the officiant for our Grand Canyon wedding and was absolutely amazing to work with, going above and beyond anything we imagined from an officiant. Reading about his ceremonies at the Grand Canyon on his website is actually what convinced us we could plan a destination wedding from another state and still have the ceremony of our dreams. He responded to our initial email inquiry incredibly promptly and once we spoke with him on the phone, we knew he was going to be the right officiant for us--experienced, enthusiastic, and incredibly dedicated to listening to us and helping us decide just what we would help us make our ceremony truly OURS. At Phil's recommendation, we ended up booking his services as part of a package offered by Celebrations Studio that took care of all the details for our ceremony--but booking as part of a package in no way diminished the personalized nature of his work with us. Phil spoke with us several times on the phone before our ceremony and always made us feel right at home thanks to the perfect blend of professionalism and wit/humor. He was incredibly committed to helping us get all the details perfect, and really knows the ins and outs of ceremonies at the Grand Canyon, from the best points to reserve to strategies for dealing with potential wind or other complications. But most importantly, Phil is an amazing speaker with a friendly, welcoming demeanor that keeps everything--and everyone--stress-free. Every part of our ceremony struck a tone that really honored the love and friendship that brought us together--and simultaneously respected our different family traditions. Once we returned home from the canyon, Phil even emailed us a copy of the day's script so that we can incorporate his beautiful language into our album! We're so grateful to have been able to collaborate with such a stellar officiant for our special day and recommend Phil wholeheartedly!
