| - ***Not happy*** with my recent experience (7/16/2017)! I came in for my 1:15pm appointment and slipped and fell hard, face first, on their white tile floor. The gal at the front desk (Carla) came over to see if I was okay as I was face down on the floor with my belongings scattered all over the floor. I took my time getting up as I wasn't sure how badly hurt I was. My knees and shins and left shoulder/ neck area began to hurt right away. I was hurt, a little shocked and completely embarrassed and cried for a brief second after I stood then regained my composure. The manager, Lin, was on the phone right away (presumably with her husband --who is an insurance agent) explaining what she saw/ didn't see, instead of helping me up off the floor. I have been going to this place from before this place was managed by the current owner {had a good relationship with everyone here and referred everyone I knew here} and thought they would've shown more concern for my safety before calling to report the accident! Geez!! ? Sub par customer service from the manager! Lin didn't even say "I'm sorry that happened" or "Are you hurt?" because I'm sure she didn't want it to seem like she was taking fault for the accident so she could cover her business for insurance purposes. ? I was not going to make an insurance claim against them, and not they they knew that, but it sure would've been nice if she showed she cared more! ?
I decided to stay for my pedicure because I felt obligated since I had an appointment and didn't want to "stand up" my tech or my sister who met me there and my feet also really needed attention. Once I sat down at the pedicure chair, Carla brought me an ice pack for one of my knees. It was hard to be relaxed when my knee and other areas were throbbing and I couldn't sit back and enjoy the massage chair because I had to sit up holding the ice on my knee. Conversation with my sister wasn't exactly enjoyable as I was a bit preoccupied. Maybe the manager could've at least offered me some Advil and comped my pedicure or done something more than was done!
Later that night as my lower back started throbbing I began to think it could've been worse --I could've knocked out my teeth, broken my nose or hurt my neck badly! Glad it wasn't that bad!
Contrary to their printed information under their "Specialties" and "History," they did ***not*** exceed my expectations and their customer service was ***not*** outstanding!
It's disappointing to think about finding a new nail salon. Hopefully they don't treat any future similar issues they may have the same way!
