| - I am giving united Nissan on Sahara two stars instead of one because they have good cars and the actual mechanics do a good job.
The problem is with the staff you have to deal with to get your car into the mechanics for maintenance.
I have booked online twice and both times my appointment could not be found when I got there. This time I called and asked for a Saturday appointment but they gave me a Monday appointment. I work on Monday!
The rep that I dealt with this time, Rocky, was nice. He had no problems helping me out despite no appt booked despite my calling. The car was complete in 90 minutes and my friend brought me back to pick it up. When I got there, Rocky was not there which is understandable. It was lunchtime. The problem was that there was no sign of him not being there and I didn't know who would be helping me. I went and asked another representative sitting at his desk just looking at his computer and he told me that I just have to pay and I can go. Great! I paid and was told that my keys were in the car outside. I was asked to go see the guy with the gray shirt outside and I did. My car was sitting outside, straight under the sun, not under shade, and it turns out the keys were not in it. The keys were actually back where the cashier was. I got the keys and then realized that my car is blocked on all four sides and I cannot get out. I had to go back, into the service area, and they had someone move the car out for me.
I was so irritated. Small errors, one after the other, just add up to make it a miserable experience. What's sad is that when I have had other cars, especially luxury ones, the service is bar none. I feel like I get treated like a second rate citizen at this place. It deserves one star for customer service before you see the mechanic and 4 to 5 stars when the mechanic is taking care of your car. I bought my Nissan Murano, a great car, because I have a long distances to drive. When I move closer to the destination where I need to be, and my driving time will be shorter, I think I may just buy a higher end car because I'm tired of poor customer service.
