  • This is actually about the policy of the hotel. Friend and I had booked a room and was unable to travel to Canada as I was ill. (We're talking 7 hours travel each way.) I was able to reschedule everything except for this hotel. Even a credit or a future stay would have been amenable but they said that they wouldn't be able to rebook the room. This is because at the time of booking, the extra ~25 was not paid and it was a nonchangeable reservation. So now, they made 2x the money on that room because I GUARANTEE YOU they rebooked that room. What a load of ____ and a COMPLETE scam. I even offered to pay the up-charge to the changeable room so that I could change the date. (I did not book the room btw.) They said there was nothing they could do. (Again, horse-____.) I was incredibly excited about this hotel and happy about the rave reviews, the kind of stay i was looking forward to, but sorry to say I will not stay at this hotel. ever. I will spend my $300/night + ?probably another $150 on ? dinner ?and/or $60 on? breakfast, elsewhere. Goodbye swindlers.
