This was an amazing first time float experience. I went for the late night session (10:30PM-12:30AM). As soon as you walk in there's a sense of peace with the dimmed lights, the aroma, and the soft quiet conversations.
Brief instructions were given before the float, and once you were left in there you were all ready to go. One thing I didn't like was the long ass list (inside your private room) of things you could do to achieve the optimal float. I feel like that list should be in the front where the "post-float" area is, since it was basically a waiting area too. While first-timers are waiting for their rooms, they can read the list there to prepare themselves.
My boyfriend and I had requested for the music to play in the first 5-10min, but unfortunately it didn't. They did manage to play it at the end of the float to transition us out though.
My boyfriend was floating in room 1, and unfortunately didn't
have a completely blacked out tank. There was light coming through the bottom of the door.. So much for floating in complete darkness.
Other than that, Float Toronto had all the amenities ready for you to use - except for a hairbrush of course. It was awesome, the shampoo and conditioner smell amazing as well.
Highly recommend floating!
