Four stars for the venue. It is very pleasant sitting on the patio. Another four stars for the service. Although it took quite a while to get our food, our server was pleasant and attentive. The food I would give around three and a half stars. I wanted the handmade turkey club hot dog because the description intrigued me, but they didn't have it (grrrrr) so I went with the roasted chicken sandwich. It wasn't nearly as exciting as I imagine my first choice would have been, but it was decent. The fries were well cooked and flavourful. The sandwich bread also had a nice texture, but the chicken was a bit bland. My friend had the eggs Benedict and she said they looked better than they tasted. I was happy to learn that a Thornbury cider pint on tap was only $6.50. All in all, I wasn't wowed, but it was alright.
