| - I have no idea why this place got 4 and 5 stars. I don't usually write about BAD food, but, unfortunately, it is what it is. A good friend loves this place since they come here quite a bit. I was excited to be invited for dinner last night. I walked in and there was a Chinese menu up on a bulletin board by the counter. The diners are most if not all Asians...score, right? We ordered Mandarin Beef, Chinese Broccolli, Seafood Chowfun, Curry Shrimp and Spicy Shrimp. First of all, the Mandarin Beef was not just bland but also very cheap meat. It must have been so old and tenderized that it was mush in your mouth. My husband thought that there was detergent in the Chowfun. There is this ammonia taste in seafood, which is a good sign of deterioration. The Spicy Shrimp had that same taste. Forget the Curry, I didn't even want to touch that thing! I feel bad since the owner was a nice lady that took our order and served us. I have a thing about quality ingredients, and this restaurant just didn't have it. The Chinese Broccolli was the only thing that was good and not enough to get me to come back!
