  • We went here expecting greatness. In the end, there was a feeling of disappointment with the food being mediocre. Got the half rack of ribs with hush puppies. Hush puppies were small ball of floured cornmeal. Seemed to have a pretzel-like texture. Not really as soft and grainy as expected. The ribs were far below expectation. I make better ribs on my grill, with better flavor. Rib tips were extra crispy and burnt. I wouldn't come back here unless I needed to. Service was excellent, by the way! In addition, there was a creepy waitress who kept lingering around, standing way too close to me when taking orders and talking to us, and rushed us even though she said she wasn't.
