  • This place is fun for me to shop and shops like this for many reasons than the obvious. My best friend and I work in a record store and know a lot of in person autograph collectors. We also both know a lot about music history, therefore, we came here to scratch our heads at some of the autographs. Firstly the guys working here are super nice and helpful, however, I don't think that they know what it is they actually have in their shop and that some things are questionable. The way the autographs are presented and the framing are really cool, however, honestly 90% are in fact fake. For example Elvis died before the sharpie was invented, however, there are 3 Elvis autographs in sharpie. Also the "E" in Elvis was totally off as there are real items that have come up for auctions at Estate sales. I have 4 Motley Crue signatures after meeting the band themselves on multiple occasions and two of the autographs are completely off. I remember talking to one of the guys during the last tour and then seeing an autograph shop in San Fran similar to this. One of the band members denies actually signing anything to be sold here. I did take a photo at the time of the autographed and the band themselves laughed. What the charge for the autographs are nothing close to the value, however, you're paying for the frame and the scrap book look that goes with the frame. It is a tourist trap and the sad thing is that there are people who don't have as much knowledge of the industry, personalities of the bands and who are vulnerable to think that these are authentic. As mentioned the customer service was nice, however, one guy was very defensive and he seemed a bit taken a back when I questioned where his source came from. They don't really provide a COA just so that you know or one that can actually be verified. It was still fun for entertainment reasons to browse.
